Ages ago I bought a bunch of stuff to make a “cyberdeck” with. Basically just a Raspberry Pi, battery holder and screen screwed into a plastic sheet, with LEGO as a stand.
Finally got round to assembling it all today, only to find the screen doesn’t work properly. Taking it apart, it looks like the inner-most layer of the screen bits is cracked or warped. Put it back together and it was even worse.
(Note it wasn’t this bad originally, it just had a huge dark patch in the middle of the screen)
I will have to buy another one that’s the exact same size so it fits into the screw holes I drilled. My cyberdeck project will have to wait for another day…
